Smooching And Stamping Canvas

Good morning my friends, Happy Monday to you.

Today I have a special canvas project to share that I created
a step by step tutorial for on the Linnie Blooms Blog.

Head over and check out how I used Avocado Arts stamps to create this
fun fall themed card where I stamped all the leaves on and Smooch
spritzed the canvas in a Gold Glow!

It was a fun project, I hope you enjoy!
See y'all tomorrow.

Always Fly...Creative Art Canvas Project

Good morning friends,
Is it already September 2nd? Where does the time go?

Anyways I have a fun canvas project to share today- it is a
I don't create canvases often but I really do enjoy making them.
For this one I used Smooch Spritz which I spritzed in graduated
colors- them to mute it I spray painted it lightly with regular almond color
spray paint. I love how effective it was.
I thought I would stamp the canvas- so the paint was a great way to
stiffen it up a bit but I ended up stamping the vintage lace and
Then I added Liquid Pearls and Ribbons Unlimited ribbon to the canvas for pop.
Also because I wanted some different texture I added Hambly acetate paper.
I really am happy with the end result- it was a fun project! :)

Now you can find my project on the LB blog and on their websites here

You Pretty Much RULE!

 Good morning!!

Well it's the 15th and you know what that means....
Avocado Arts time! WOOT WOOT! This new stamp set
"You RULE" is a super fun time- I mean seriously...love it.

I always feel extra excited about my Avocado Arts posts because
they are such an amazing company with the BEST most KIND people
working there and designing. Honestly just the best.

Here is my first card- I made it for my gf who is moving away.
She thinks she is being replaced but no one can replace your friends.
I sprtized the card with Smooch Spritz and used some Clearsnap glitter
on the tips and flags. You  might not be able to tell but I also punched
holes in the stamped paper for a more realistic look.
This is the entire stamp set- isn't it the best?! I love it!
Avocado Arts does rule.
I have more projects coming up- so check back tomorrow!
Have a wonderfully creative day~

~Glitter Paint!! Be Brave- Don't Wear Underwear~

Good morning my friends,

I missed Monday because the weekend was so eventful
with Dr.'s and all but I am back on track now! :)

I have this fun canvas I created to remind myself to love
hard and keep  my sense of humor about life.
I used a TON of Extreme Glitter paint over Clear Scraps Mascils-
A ton of Clearsnap Smooch Spritz and Metallic Inks over the glitter paint
on the banner even- and alot of funky Clear Scraps acrylic.
Sometimes these canvases can be so therapeutic.
They are not only fun to make but it's always a surprise when you finish.
So keep on smiling- and have some fun today~
Happy Tuesday my friends~

~Sweet Vintage High Fashion Card~

Hey there friends,
I almost did not blog today but then I remembered I needed to
remind all my digi scrappy friends (and all the rest) that tomorrow
is the Samantha Walker Creative Team BLOG HOP, and
I came across this card I had not posted yet! :)

If you have not tried the Purple Cows PIN IT yet, it's so fun.
See the pretty gold leaves on the Kanban Crafts card I created?
Those are from the Pin It. All the rest is Kanban, and the lace
is vintage from my stash spritzed with Smooch Spritz.
I nearly fainted when I found these quote die cuts from Kanban and they
were quotes from Coco Chanel!!!! *swoon* I am a big fan of fashion
and she really pioneered women's fashion, so it was cool to find.
Plus what gf would not like a card like this! :) Vintage and fun...loves it!
I also used my Glue Arts glue on this one....
have I pimped enough product yet?? LOL

If you wonder why I always post what the product is...it's not because
I am paid, because I am not...it is simply because I always get emails
asking what the products are so my friends can find them.
Now I try to just post what I use all the time. And if I like it
and trust it TRUST the product :) Then I will tell ya because
it's a treat to find a great product that I can trust! :)
Ok I am off to do more unpacking, have a fantastic day~

~Glue Arts WINNER + Craft Supplies On Halloween Costumes!~

Good morning!!!

Did you have a Happy Halloween??
Today I am posting the Glue Arts WINNER, but first I wanted
to share my craftiness yesterday....it's not what you think LOL

My boys are getting older and mom was sick this year, so they
opted for masks (the 2 older ones). Now normally I make everyone in
the family costumes, but this year I have been sick and just could not do it.
This is the mask Justice bought but his sheet was stark white.
He asked me if I could get a grey sheet with white but I could not find one
so I tol him I would SMOOCH him...Smooch Spritz that is LOL
I tool this silver Smooch Spritz and sprayed the top half of the
sheet to match the costume, it was a perfect match!
So many uses for Smooch Spritz! I love it, I think I might decorate
Christmas ribbon with it too. It was cute because Justice was so impressed.
You can see the matching spooky creases. The photos don't show how
perfect it is but we were running late and out of daylight.
This is my little Gage with his Luigi costume, I made this hat
2 years ago for Halloween when we were all Mario Brothers characters.
Here is the gang, my boys almost grown up! :)
Ok on to the Glue Arts WINNER!

~Think Different~

Good morning my crafty friends,

I was heartbroken to hear Steve Jobs passed away so young.
You know he was very close to the age my grandmother was
when she passed away. Anyways I had not thought about it again
until Christine posted the new Survivor Challenge on Tally Scrapper.
The challenge was to use the Title "Think Different" and use
this photo as inspiration.
I love the unique challenge and decided to just DO IT!
I printed off the Apple logo, and made my own mask.
Then I smooch spritzed it on white cardstock.
I edited my photos to the colors of the computers and
basically stuck with the theme of the photo.
I kept it simple like the ad, and just went with it.
I struggled and struggle with this stinking photograph so I finally
laid it on a canvas I had and snapped the shot.
I apologize for the poor quality, it was just a bad day.
You know what I tried on this new layout?? My brand new Multi-directional
Glue Arts Glider Pro glue, you can flip it to PUSH or you can flip it to PULL it.
It really did glide smoothly...and they are giving them away on the Glue
Arts Blog this week, GO ENTER! :)
A little birdie told me I might be hosting a giveaway on my
blog soon too, so stay tuned!! :) Tell them PINKY sent ya
and you want to see a giveaway here too! :)

Journaling:I love the “Think Different” quote. It's more than just a logo.

To me it is who I have always been and accepting it with peace in my heart.

It's not a bad thing it's all about being YOU and being unique.

Even if you were not an Apple fan, you can still find inspiration
in the creativity of technology, and the attention to detail of Steve Jobs.
If you really look, you can find inspiration anywhere.
I chose to find inspiration in the ideas he had, and the "Think Different"
logo of Apple, because I do live my life in that way.

If you have not joined Tally you really should, it is an
amazing place full of artistic and creative inspiration! :)

Have a beautiful Friday my friends♡♡♡♡

Ok on to the chicken FUN~
It's an exciting day in the Hobbs home,
we went last night to buy a NEW Chicken Feeder! LOL
Oh the joy and excitement!

We began with a small red one for the babies
and sort of forgot we would need a larger one for grown chickens.
Finally we broke down and paid for one last night.
It was quite the stir in our house...(how boring are we? LOL)
When I went out to get a shot of it one of my favorite little chickens
was just standing there, I swear she asked me to take her picture!
Maybe she was saying "I am ready for my close up now"
At any rate, usually she hides so I was pleased to see her out.
Also I got this girl but she is WILD I mean WILD
of course they never peck or anything but if you try to hold
this one she flips out flapping and making a fuss.

Another fun event yesterday (which is why I did not craft at all)
We had new furniture come!
It is a HUGE step for us because when we packed up and left Oregon
we had new furniture and everything was set.
We sold everything and moved 3300 miles away.
It has been a long journey but it finally feels like we are getting back to normal
I even dug out and old heavy mirror I am going to paint this week!
Oh and I have my reading corner again *YEA*
I detest the pillows but the couches are ok, we bought
them without knowing the true color because they did not
have a swatch. They are darker than the picture shows but I am
sure I can spruce it up!

That's it for me today, be sure to enter the GIVEAWAY!
~Happy Friday~
