So I figure it is time to update this blog since it has been over a month since I have posted anything. So here is a little update of our month.
First, on the morning of Saturday the 15th I woke up with a sharp pain in my side. I ignored it most of the day, but by 6:00 that night I decided I needed help. So we went into the instacare. They ran some tests and one of them came back quite a bit higher than it should have. So they told me to go to the ER and have a cat scan. So at 9:00 on Saturday night we went to the ER and got the cat scan done. It came back showing a fairly good sized blood clot in my lower left lung. I was admitted to the hospital at 1:00 Sunday morning. I had to stay in the hospital for 5 days on blood thinners and Loritab. They finally released me that next Friday at 10:00 am. I was at work by 11. I am doing fine and by the time we found out that I had a blood clot, we also realized that is was low risk. Anthony was a great support and I was so glad to have him there!
Here I am getting ready to leave the hospital after 5 days. YAY!!!
This was the view from my 8th floor hospital room. I was at the new Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. It is a REALLY nice hospital. If you have to stay in one, that is a nice one to stay in.
