Seaside

Good morning everyone. We have a new challenge for you this week at the Polkadoodles blog. As always the challenge for you is Anything Goes, but this time the team were challenged to make something with either a summer, seaside or tropical theme. I went with the seaside theme and made this.
I injured my finger at the end of last week when I was due to make this so couldn't do any colouring with my alcohol pens so used my Zig Clean Color Marker for this. I've kept it quite CAS for a change too. I've used the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection to make it, well just the lighthouse digi which you can buy in a smaller collection here. Or even on it's own here
Don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out all the makes from the rest of the team. And of course join in our challenge to win some fab goodies.

Patriotic!

Good morning followers and passers by. I'm here today with a brand new challenge from the Polkadoodles blog, and this week the team were challenge to make something in Red, White and Blue. As soon as I saw this I knew what I was going to use as I need to make a male card for someone who likes clean and simple cards, but also loves the sea. So here it is.
Of course the collection that I have used is the fab Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection. I've drawn some faux stitch lines around the edge of the background layer which is mounted onto the card on 3D foam. Then I've simply used 3 banners and the boat, all fussy cut and mounted onto 3D foam, and there you have it.

Summer

Good morning and Happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make something with a summer theme. Well what says summer more than sitting on a pier dangling your feet in a lovely warm ocean? Not much eh, and this is very similar to what I will be doing when you read this post! Eeeek I'll be in Mauritius celebrating my 50th, woo hoo
Anyhoo, you're not bothered about that are you. So of course I've used the fabulous Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection. You can also buy this on it's on as a design sheet here.

Now don't forget to pop over to the blog and grab today's discount code and check out my teamies makes.
Righto, I'm off back to my cockaails now, see you soon.

Design Sheet make

Hello and welcome. I'm sharing my latest make from Polkadoodles today. Over at the blog the team have been challenge to once again use a design sheet. I think people often overlook these but they are amazing. They are fab for when you need to make something quickly. They are fab for those who are not sure what goes with what, and they are fab for those who have lost their mojo. I love them, especially the Polkadoodles ones as you get so much on them. Anyhoo enough waffling and more sharing.
For this card I have used design sheet 10 from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection. You can get the whole collection on download HERE. Or on CD HERE. And of course you can just buy individual bits if you wish HERE.
Now don't forget to pop over to the blog and check out me teamies fab makes for more inspiration.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with some mid Challenge inspiration for the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge for us that started last week was to make something to do with the seaside. But for you it is anything goes. And here is my make.
I spent ages and aged looking for some seaside and beach themed stamps to make some home decor for my new summer house which has a beach theme. So when Nikky Hall launched these I was more than a little bit giddy lol So I needed to make a door sign so I had bought a plain MDF plaque from the MDF man at Doncaster so used that for this.
I used one of the plainer papers from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection as a back ground. I then used the Tropical Oceans stamp set to stamp some background images onto the paper. I then stamped the porthole and the beach hut and coloured them in so they stood out. Finally I used a few of the MDF pieces from the Nautical large MDF embellies set. I painted them with some paint I had in my cupboard and then glued them in place.
A close up of the MDF pieces.

Hi everyone, I've just popped on to share some of the other makes I've done lately and not got around to sharing for some reason. So it is very photo heavy. These are all Polkadoodles products and I will add the links for the various products under the photos. Please forgive me if I have shared any of these photos before.

These were made using the Tropical Underworld stamp set.

These are using the Magic Garden collection.

These were made using the Daisy Days and Summertime stamp sets.
