Tagtastic time

Good morning to you
I'm here with another make for the Polkadoodles blog.
I'm aware that Christmas will be on us before we know it, so thought I would crack on and get a start on my gift tags.
I start by cutting a tag out of Kraft card using the Posydoodles Basics tags die set
I then chose 4 coordinating papers from the Frosted Winter download collection and cut them out using the same tag. I then trimmed them down a bit so they would be smaller than the tag cut out of Kraft card. Then I fold them in half down the length and cut. Then cut those lengths into 4. I then choose a distress ink and ink around the edges of all the pieces.

I then glue the small pieces onto the Kraft tag and add some faux stitching. Sometimes I use a white pen, and sometimes a black.
Next I choose the images I would like to use and print them all out and sit and have a fussy cutting session. I like to leave a white border around the images to make them pop a little, but some people don't like that, so it's up to you.
Then mount everything onto 3D foam and stick in place where you like them on the tag. I added some stamens and some berries and finished it off with some bakers twine through the hole.
And there you have it. I also have lots of papers and images left to make more tags so I will share them with you another time.

Simply Silhouette

Good morning constant reader. I've got another tutorial for you today, once again using Polkadoodles products.
I started with an A4 sheet of card that I had made into a background ages ago using some spray inks. I cut a 14.5cm square piece of card for the main layer, and then used the large die from the Polkadoodles Stitched Circles die set.
I then used a black ink to stamp the Graceful Flower girl image and sentiment onto the circle.
I ran around the edge of the circle with a black pen to add a faux layer and make it pop off the card more.
On the background I stamped one of the stamps from the Textures Galore stamp set in a coordinating ink to add more detail. I then added some rough lines around the edges using a fine liner pen, mounted everything onto 3D foam and mounted onto a 15cm square card blank.
 Here is the finished card.
