Christmas

Good morning and a very Happy
This week at the Digi Choosday blog the team have been challenge to make something else for Christmas. And as I love my tags when making my one for last week I decided to make another one for this weeks make, so here it is.

Once again I used the Octavia Frosted Winter collection. I love the colours in this collection as that's what colour Christmas is in out house. My tree and decorations are all in these lovely blues and purples with some pink in there as well.
I used 4 different papers cut into squares, the edges distressed with ink and faux stitching added around the edges with a white pen. They are then matted onto a tag die, which I have cut using the Stamps By Me Loving Wishes Tag die set. All the embellies are then fussy cut and mounted on using 3D foam to make them pop. The sentiment is from Christmas Tree Script stamp set from Polkadoodles.

Hot colours

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with a new challenge from the Polkadoodles challenge blog. And that challenge set for the team is to use "Hot Colours" The challenge for you as always is Anything Goes. Here is my make.

I stamped one of the flowers randomly over a piece of water colour card in a sticky ink pad, the one I used is the Rare Earth Clear Glass one, and then used a clear embossing powder over the top. I colured the flowers in using the beautiful Pearl Colors water colour paints from Kuretake Gansai. Then I have used a hot pink ink over the rest of the card, the one I used was the Tim Holtz Pickled Raspberry. I then did the same process but this time using the fabulous Peacock stamp from the same stamp set, how fabulous is it! I then added some faux stitching around the edges of both using a white pen. Matted them onto a piece of white card and mounted onto 3D foam. I then used 3 more flowers done just the same and then cut out and added to the corner of the card to give it a bit more interest.
Why not come over and join in the challenge for your chance to win some fab goodies!

Tag!

Good morning and a very happy
This week over at the Digi Choosday blog the team are challenged to make a tag, well of course everyone knows how much I love tags so here's my make.

To make this I've used the Octavia Frosted Winter collection. I used 4 different papers cut into squares, the edges distressed with ink and faux stitching added around the edges with a white pen. They are then matted onto a tag die, which I have cut using the Stamps By Me Loving Wishes Tag die set. This is then mounted onto the larger of the tags from the set using 3D foam to make it pop.
I have then fussy cut at the embellies and the fabulous unicorn and added some glimmer using a Wink Of Stella pen on the main of the Unicorn. I've added some stamens into the flowers and a few gems on the corner and there you have it. I wonder who's gift this will end up on at Christmas? Maybe I'll give it to hubby to use on mine so I can keep it lol
Now don't forget to go over to the blog and grab today's discount code and of course to check out the rest of the teams makes. And for you to enter our Anything Goes challenge to win some fab prizes!

Roses

Good evening, I have another couple of cards to share with you that I made for the Stamps By Me show on Create and craft this afternoon. If you missed the show you can catch it here for the next 7 days. For these cards  I used the Much Loved Friends stamp set. And a few die cuts from the Detailed Flourish Synergy die, and the Build A Flower 2 die set.
On the 2nd card I used the sentiment from the With Love Tags die set.
Toni is on Create and Craft again tonight at 9pm so be sure to tune in then to catch these, and more samples from me and the rest of the very talented design team.

Poppies.

Good afternoon everyone.
Are you watching Create and Craft? Did you see Toni Darroch and Stamps By Me on there? If not you can catch up on the show HERE for the next seven days.

I want to show you a couple of cards I made for the show using the

These are made by using the Synergy Poppy Die. Which is just great for paper piecing, or for colouring if you prefer to do that. On this card I inked up a piece of card using distress inks in oranges and yellows. I then cut the die out using that that piece of card and a black card. I then swapped them around and added to coloured pieces in the black outline, and left the coloured outline on it's own and matted it onto a piece of black card. The sentiment is from the With Love tag die set.
You can also buy these from Toni's website as well as Create and Craft TV.

Seaside

Good morning everyone. We have a new challenge for you this week at the Polkadoodles blog. As always the challenge for you is Anything Goes, but this time the team were challenged to make something with either a summer, seaside or tropical theme. I went with the seaside theme and made this.
I injured my finger at the end of last week when I was due to make this so couldn't do any colouring with my alcohol pens so used my Zig Clean Color Marker for this. I've kept it quite CAS for a change too. I've used the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection to make it, well just the lighthouse digi which you can buy in a smaller collection here. Or even on it's own here
Don't forget to pop over to the blog to check out all the makes from the rest of the team. And of course join in our challenge to win some fab goodies.

Get Your Happy On

Good evening everyone. Yes I'm here on an evening which is a first for me I think! I'm here to share with you a few makes from the fabulous Toni Darroch from Stamps By Me. Toni is doing a Facebook live at 8pm to show you some of her new stamps and dies, yes dies! The last dies Toni did, the tag ones, were a huge success so she has brought us more fabulousness. But, I'm going to show you some cards made with one of the new stamp sets. The set is called Get Your Happy On and I just love it! These are what I have done with this set which you can find HERE.

For this card I used 2 of Toni's Generation inx ink pads to stamp the splats for the background, to get the purple small splat darker than the big one I just stamped it twice. How did I get in the same place? Well that's easy, I used my Eureka 101 so I can stamp in the same place as many times as I like and it will always be spot on. Then I used the black ink pad to stamp the fabulous large sentiment. I just ADORE large sentiments as it's so obvious what you want the card, or project, to say. I then added a strip of ribbon, a bow and a sparkly gem to finish it off.
For this card I used the make your own ink pad using the blank pad and 2 inks from Rare Earth. As I love Blue and Purple together I chose to use those on this one. Then I simply stamped away the large splat and the sentiment. Again this is finished with a bow.
And finally on this card I stamped the sentiment in the Clear Glass ink pad from Rare Earth and sprinkled Rare Earth clear embossing powder over it and heated it up. This gives you a resist so you can colour over it and still see the sentiment. I used 3 Tim Holtz distress ink pads on this one to make the background. Then I stamped the splats in the black ink pad, again using the Eureka 101 to stamp them a few times to get them super black.

So pop over to Facebook at 8pm so you can see Toni live showing this stamp set and more. You will find her HERE.

A little bit Alice

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with some mid challenge inspiration for the Oddball Art Facebook challenge. For todays make I've used the fabulous Alice image #324, and here is my make.

I think everyone now knows that I am a massive Disney geek and Alice In Wonderland is one of my all time faves. So of course I had to colour this image up. I've done a CAS card so the image does all the speaking. I used my Copics to colour this. So why not ocme over to our Facebook page and join in with our challenge. You can find the group HERE, and the challenge is HERE.
Hope to see you there!

Festive Hollybobs

Good morning and a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog we are continuing with our Christmas makes for you. But of course it is anything goes for you if you join us.
I've used the Work and Play 5, Festive Hollybobs collection to make this. It's still a great collection to use as it hasn't aged at all. I've used one of the design sheets, a piece of red card and a white card blank to make my card. I've fussy cut all the elements of the sheet out and mounted them all on 3D foam to make them pop off the card. I've added a few dots here and there on the blank spaces to give it something extra rather than do my usual squiggly line around the edges.

Here is a close up of the layers for you.
I hope you come and join in with our challenge for your choice to win some fab prizes. So go check out the rest of the teams makes and of course, grab today massive discount code which only runs for 24 hours!

So pop over to the blog and read up on how you can join us.

I got to play with the cute Scribble Sally Ballerina image, and this is what I did with her.
I used my Copics to colour this in but can not find my list of colours I used anywhere, it will probably turn up later today stuck to one of my cats! The sentiment is a Tattered Lace die and the papers are from Sweet Paris paper stack from Trimcraft.

Design Sheet

Good morning and a very happy
This week over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to use a design sheet from anyone of our fabulous collections. Here is my make for this week.
I chose to use the stunning Winnie In Winterland collection for this, and keep on with getting all my Christmas makes done for this year. You can buy this Design sheet on it's own HERE if you wish. And in lots of smaller bits and pieces HERE. I used a plain piece of red card as my back layer on my card and added some squiggly lines and dots in a black fine liner pen before adding the larger piece of the desgin sheet. I then fussy cut everything from the sheet and added where I wanted to using 3D foam.
The challenge for you as always is Anything Goes so come and join us to be in with a chance of winning some freebies!
Now get yourself over to the team blog and check out what everyone else did this week. And of course to grab today's mahoosive discount code.

Silly Sally

I've been a bad teamie in the Oddball team as haven't been able to colour for weeks now due to this awful finger trouble from when I trapped it in the wardrobe door. So I have been trying to colour every few days and if it was still hurting I didn't want to push it and make it worse. My colouring keeps me sane so it's been really hard for me not to be able to do it. Anyhow, I tried the other night and the pain is very nearly gone when I hold a pen so I thought I would sit and try an image and voila, I actually managed it and here is my result. So of course the image is from Oddball Art and is called Silly Sally Smiles, isn't she super cute! The papers are from a really old Papermania stack I had and saved a few of those sheets that are too nice to use. I'm sure we all have them, well I'm trying to be sensible (yeah, right) and get them used up and let someone else enjoy them when I give the card
I used Copics to colour her and the colours were:
Skin: E33, E11, E21, E00, E50 and R20 for the cheeks.
Blues: B29, B24, B12
Shadows are just 2 grey ones

So why not pop over to our Facebook group and join in with this months challenge. You can find us HERE. And all entrants for this challenge are in this folder HERE. And all the Design Team makes are HERE. So that's it for me today, but I will be back very soon with more!

Baked With Love

Good morning and a very happy
This week over at the Digi Choosday blog the team are still getting ready for Christmas. Why not come and join in with our challenge to prepare yourself. If you don't want to do anything along the Christmas theme, you can do anything you want as the theme for you is always anything goes.
So here is my make for this week.
To make this I've used the ever so cute Baked With Love download collection. You can also buy this on CD if you wish.
This is a white card blank with 4 of collections papers cut into small square and glued in place on a layer of white card slightly smaller than the card blank. I've then added some faux stitching around the papers so it looks like patchwork. I've then mounted that layer onto 3D foam and stuck it to the card blank to give it dimension. I've then cut a tag in white card using a Stamps By Me tag die set. I've then cut the 2nd layer of the tag 4 times in the different papers and again made them look like patchwork. I then fussy cut some embellies and the baking Gingerbread Lady and mounted them all on 3D foam and glued in place. And there you have it.
Here is a close up for you.
No don't forget to go grab today's massive discount code and check out my teamies makes.
