Kraft time!

Good morning and Happy
everyone.
We have a new challenge for you today from the Digi Choosday blog, as always the theme for you should you wish to join us is anything goes. But we were challenged to use some Kraft card today, and as you know that's an easy one for me as I adore Kraft card. So I've used the amazing new Winnie Winterland collection to create this tag.
I cut the tag out using a Tattered Lace die but you could easily do this shape by hand. I distressed the edges using the Gathered Twigs distress ink. I used a smaller die to cut another two tags from some of the papers and then cut them into small square. I then inked the edges of the papers with the same ink before gluing them onto the tag base. I then ussed a white pen and added some faux stitching. I printed a few embellies out and a sentiment, cut them and the inked the edges again. Finally I added 3D foam to the back of them and stuck them in place, and added a piece of string.
I wonder who's gift this will end up on this year???? I have made a few of these already and can see myself making a lot more between now and Christmas.
Now don't forget to pop over to the team blog to check out all my teamies makes, and of course grab your discount code for today.

2 or more images

Good morning everyone. I'm here today with a new challenge for the Polkadoodles blog. The new challenge for the team is to use 2 or more images, but for you it is anything goes as always.
Now get ready as there are lots of photos on this post.
Here it is in full. I've used the new Festive Christmas collection that was on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago. You can now buy it from the Polkadoodles store as a download HERE, or a CD HERE. And of course don't forget those lush stamps!
So I've used one of the already made up toppers from the Soup section of the collection. But I then added a Robin on the fence and a tree with a snowflake on top and some baubles on before printing it out. I then also printed a message, an extra snowman, an extra bird and some flowers. I mounted the extras onto 3D foam to add more interest. I have the frost, snow and ice collection from Embellishment Attic so I used some of that. On the bare tree, the flowers, the Christmas tree and the fence I added ice glitter that is iridescent so picks up all sorts of colours. And on the snowman I used the snow glitter which is more clear so just looks white.
I've tried to get some light on the glittered items to give you a better idea.

And there you have it, it actually shows up quite well I think. I use this stuff loads and loads and never seem to get to the bottom of the containers!
Right now you can go over to the team blog to check out the rest of the stunning makes for this weeks challenge. We would also love it if you would join in our challenge, which for you are always anything goes.

Birthday Celebrations

Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone. And I'm sure by now you know that means that is also

But it's not just any ordinary Choosday, it's our third birthday! Yep, I have been here every Tuesday for 3 whole years this week! Where does time go?
So seeing as it is our birthday we thought it only right for the theme for the team to be to do a birthday make this week. If you enter you can still do the anything goes.
Now make sure you read my post right to the end!
I've made a card and a matching tag for this challenge and I've used one of my favourite characters, Winnie. But this time I've used the Winnie Fruit Punch collection. When this collection came out I fell in love with that cute fat bee, and still love him as much as Winnie so I had to add him onto my make. And here it is.
I've coloured her with my Graph'It markers and I added some sparkle to the Butterfly wings and to the wings of that gorgeous Bee. I sat and fussy cut everything out, even fussy cutting the sentiments.
Here are a few close ups.

And here is that matching tag making Fat Bee the main focus. Again I've added some sparkle to his wings using a Wink of Stella pen.

Now don't forget to pop over to the Digi Choosday blog to check out my fab teamies makes and grab the code for this weeks massive discount the boss lady has given.
So why did I tell you to make sure you read right to the end? Well seeing as I'm am the only original member of the Digi Choosday team I'm giving away a FULL download collection. Which one I hear you ask. Well the one I used for these makes, the adorable Winnie Fruit Punch. So please leave me a comment and I will give you a number.  I will draw the winner when this challenge ends in 2 weeks time. Also I please ask that the winner be a follower of my blog and the Digi Choosday blog.

Autumn Colours

Good morning all. I'm here today with my make for the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge we have this time is to use Autumn colours, and here is my make.
I have used the frabjous Winnie In Wonderland Collection CD to make  this. You can also get this in a download format HERE, and in smaller separate items HERE.
I have used Tweedledee image twice here. I put one onto my page and then added a second and flipped it so you then have Tweedledum as well. I coloured them with my Graph'It Markers. I used 2 papers that I distressed and inked the edges of. I then printed and fussy cut lots of embellies and inked all the edges red before mounting on 3D foam and sticking in place.

Dark Colours

Hello everyone, it's that time of the week again, it's
After you're done here don't forget to go over to the Digi Choosday blog to grab the code and of course check out my talented teamies makes.

This week the team were challenged to either a Halloween make or to use dark colours. Well as I really don't "do" Halloween I chose to go with the Dark Colours, and I chose to do a Christmas card. Now you might think how can you use dark colours for a Christmas make? Well this is how.
I have used the stunning Octavia Frosted Winter download collection to make this quick simple card. I used 2 papers, 1 embellie, some holly and a three flowers in different sizes layered up, and a sentiment. I mounted the tree and sentiment onto 3D foam to make then stand out and added some faux stitching to make it pop a bit more.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Winnie Winterland number 4

I'm back yet again to share another make with you from the new Winnie Winterland collection. You can grab the collection on download HERE, on CD HERE, or in individual items HERE. We are having a little launch party over on our Facebook page over the weekend if you want to come and join us. This time I've made a tag for you. I love making my own tags to put on Christmas gifts for people, and can see this collection being used a lot for those this year! I've used a couple of the amazingly cute Gingerbread folk on this. If you love Gingerbread folk as much as I do you might want to take a look at our other new collection this week, which is a mini kit called Baked With Love which you can find HERE. If you buy this collection along with the new Winnie one you will get this one for half price!! How generous is that???? You will love it believe me!
Just look at those adorable little faces, how can you not love them!
