Good morning everyone. I'm here today with the last make of this year for the Graph'It Markers colouring challenge blog. This challenge is being sponsored by the lovely Digital Delights and the image I am using is the super cute Elf Surprise, so here is my make.
The colours I have used are:
Elf skin: 4105, 4125, 4150, 3120
Bears: 1230, 1250, 1270 and Mix It fluid on my jumper and pressed on the bears.
Bunny and Mouse: 9500, 9501, 9502, 9503
Reds: 5210, 5215, 5220
Greens: 8130, 8150, 8160

And this is the colour chart I had to follow this week.
I think I managed to stick to it this week apart from the greys for the mouse and bunny.

Christmas decor

.
Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone.
Yes it's
already! So get over to the blog and grab your code and use it before midnight tonight!

This week our new challenge is to make some Christmas Home Decor.
Every year I make lots of things for the house for Christmas so this is one of my fave challenges, and here is what I have made.
This was a plain MDF  snowflake that I got at one of the craft shows this year. I have covered it with a paper from the Angelberry Christmas collection, and added some sparkle using my Graph'It Shake silver pen. Then I printed out the same paper, a sentiment and a coordinating paper onto Centura Pearl card. I used a Tattered Lace die to cut a snowflake out around the sentiment. And then used some TL dies to cut out some Poinsettia flowers and some Holly leaves. I glued them all in place and added some pearls into the centre of the flowers. This will look fab with the rest of my decorations.
Here is a close up to show you the sparkle you get from the Centura Pearl card.

Traditional Christmas (again)

Good morning everyone. I'm here to tell you about the new challenge over at Polkadoodles that starts today. The challenge for this fortnight is Traditional Christmas, and here is my make.
I've used papers and embellishments from the amazing Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection as i did on Tuesday for our Digi Choosday challenge. I just adore these Picknix collections. Again I've printed this onto 300gsm cream card and then used my scanNcut to cut all the embellishments out. The base card is an 8x8 cream card. I've decoupaged the Santa image to make it stand out even more. I love how different it looks printed on cream card rather than white card. It all adds to the oldie world vintage look. I've added a black pen line around the papers and image as well to frame them.
This shows you the 3D santa and raised up embellies.
I also used the paper left over to decorate the inside of the card.

Traditional Christmas

Good morning and Happy Choosday again everyone. Well Winter is well and truly here now isn't it. We've had a few flurries of snow up here in Yorkshire, but nothing major as yet, (I'm writing this on Sunday) and hopefully it will stay that way.
So of course because it's Tuesday that means it's
So get yourself over to the blog and grab your code before it expires!

So onto the challenge. This week we have the theme of Traditional Christmas. We are all now in full flow trying to get our Christmas makes done as the big day will be here in no time at all, after all it is the 1st December today, eeeek! I've decided to make some tags this week, and I've used the amazing Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection. Now anyone that has followed my crafting or blog for a while will know how much I love these Picknix collections and this is why I couldn't just stop at one tag, I made 6! And I have the bits to make a few more this afternoon! So here they are.
And here is a close up of them.

These are so easy to make I just cut out the tag shape from Kraft card, cut strips of paper and distressed them all. Then when glued in place I added some faux stitching, some with a white pen and some with a black pen. Then I printed out a sheet of the embellishments onto some cream card. Now because all the embellies in this collection have a black outline, rather than fussy cut I scanned the sheet into my ScanNcut and had that cut them out for me. It didn't miss a single thing because of that black outline, so saved me the best part of any hour! More crafting time! Finally I finished them off with some string I got from the Christmas section of Ikea last year.

Snowy Christmas

Good morning everyone. Wow Winter is really here now isn't it. Up here in the North of England we are being battered by gail force winds and heavy rain, perfect weather for sitting beside a nice fire and crafting away.
Today I'm here with my make for the Challenge over at the Graph'It Markers colouring challenge blog. We are being sponsored by Polkadoodles this week (Yay!) and the challenge is Snowy Christmas. Here is my make, and the colour chart I had to use.

The image is from the Work & Play 5 collection, Festive Hollybobs. I have kept it simple by just using an embossed background as this will be for our little Nico as he loves doggies.
The GI's I have used are:
Skin: 4125, 4150, 3120, 4145
Purples: 6190, 6180, 6140

With Thanks

Good morning and happy choosday. I'm back from my jollies in Sharm-El-Sheikh after having to stop an extra day. Oooo it was so hard to put up with an added day in the 33 degree heat, in a 5* hotel with fabulous food, waiters bringing drink and fruit round all day, lounging around the pool and eating fabulous food! Oh well, it won't be long until I'm back there.

Now onto todays make for the Digi Choosday blog. The theme we have this week is "With Thanks" You may want to get a start on making thank you cards for your Christmas gifts, or maybe you just want to thank someone for something they have done for you, or just for being a friend. Whatever it is we have lots of inspiration for you. Here is my make.

I have used a page from the fabulous Colour Therapy issue 2, Inspiring Foliage. The stamp is from one of my SU stamp sets. I have used my Sakura Tiara pens that I have had forever. I have embossed a back ground and mounted it on 3D foam, and then cut around the image and mounted that onto 3D foam as well.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Sparkly Christmas

Good morning and Happy Choosday everyone. We have a new challenge for you at Digi Choosday and this week it is all about Christmas with sparkles! And here is my make.
I have printed some papers from the Angelberry Christmas collection onto centura pearl card to give the background some sparkle, I've added a bit of glare on the photo so you can see this. I've then printed some embellies from the same collection and some mushroom houses from the Home For Christmas Collection and added some glitter over the snow. I've mounted them all onto 3D foam to give it some dimension. These two collections work fabulously together don't you think!
A couple of close up shots to show the glitter.

Now don't forget to get over to the blog to get the massive discount code to use on digis until midnight tonight! And of course check out my teamies fabulous makes, they will blow you away.

Autumnal colours.

Good morning. I hope all those that went to, or had fireworks parties last night enjoyed them and stayed safe. They're not my thing, I never liked them as a child and still don't so I usually stay home and keep warm and comfy. This year however I am in the sunshine in Egypt so don't need to wrap up to stay warm! As you are ready this I'm probably on my sun lounger colouring in or reading a good book!
So the reason I'm here is to share my make for the new challenge at Polkadoodles. The challenge we have for this next two weeks is to use the colours of Autumn and here is my make:
I have used one of the designs from the fabulous Colour Therapy Florabunda CD, you can also get this as a download HERE if you can't wait for a CD to arrive! This is one of the 6x6 designs and I have made a card blank to fit it using a Tattered Lace Essentials die. The sentiment stamp and the butterflies are from a Tatty Twinkle stamp set. And the die cuts are TL.
In the stripes around the image I've used a Sakura Tiara gold pen to add a bit of glitter, and some gems on the base.
