Feeling frazzled

I have done a fair bit of stitching though it doesn’t really show as the stitches are so small lol.
I had planned on updating a little while ago but thought it would be better to wait till after half term has finished. Is anyone else completely frazzled by the end of half term?
We have been really busy. We had Mandeville the class mascot to stay and took him on lots of fun adventures. Baking cakes, the zoo, and the park, friends and families houses. We only had one day (after the zoo) where we did nothing.
We have also been looking into doing a mutual house exchange-our 2 bed for their 3bed. But after lots of viewings and us signing all the paperwork she changed her mind L
So lots of pics:

Stitching so far

Tuesday, 3 May 2011

I’m sorry I haven’t updated for so long. Real life hit and boy did it hit hard.
My Nan taught me to cross stitch; it seems like years ago now. She sadly passed away last week after a long and tiring battle with cancer which she finally beat, only to lose an even harder battle with Parkinson’s. She fought until the end, she was amazing.

There hasn’t been a lot of stitching happening as I haven’t felt like it to be completely honest.
The weekend just gone we went on our first family holiday. Camping. Yeah not the best of things for someone with my health problems and damn don’t I know it!
We went to Barleylands in Essex. It was quite nice. I loved the craft village they had and spent hours wondering around little shops and stalls but was well behaved and only brought 1 skein of DMC thread as I had run out. Here’s the website it’s well worth the cold nights, spiders, and our tiny tent.
