ISMAKI #25

(Forsiden/ The front)

(Baksiden/ The back)

Have used the night to make a card for the challenge at the ISMAKI-blog. Loved the sketch this week :) It really got me back on the card making track. Thanks!

The card is made on heavy cardstock, and I didn't make the card double, just two-sided. The circles are mounted on glue pads of different sizes. It just didn't come out well in the scanner... Thanks for looking :)

...

ISMAKI - challenge 21

Steiki...

Oh my... sometimes I'm sure I've lost my mind. Gone totally crazy... Printed out the sketch and did actually have an idea for what to make. But the card just lived its own life like I had no control at all! I kept adding new stuff, and some more stuff. And some more... Yeah, I know - it's impossible to recognize the sketch... Sorry... A card with too much stuff, no focus point and no harmony at all. I'm SO proud *lol* The only thing I like about this card is the colors. And the metal flowers. (I have the feeling that I'm making a new card to night... :) This doesn't feel right at all...)

ISMAKI - challenge 14

Better late than.... :) Here is my entry for the ISMAKI-sketch this week. All the stamps are from Norsk Stempelblad AS. I've stamped and embossed on water paint paper, and colored with Distress Ink.

And - I'm SO happy with our new stamps that I'd like to give some sheets as freebies to you who visit my blog :) The only things you have to do, are:
1. Leave a comment here at my blog.
2. Send me a mail with your name, adresse and blog/website address. Send it to aashild.ruud'at'gmail.com. Tell me what language you prefer (English, Swedish or Norwegian).

Saturday I'll draw lots and some of you will get a stamp sheet for free. And when you receive the stamps, I hope you'll use them a lot and feel free to publish it in your blogs or in mags. Just mention our website: www.stempelblad.no.

...

1. Legge igjen en kommentar her i bloggen.

Finally! *Our new stamp design has arrived, our new stamp design has arrived!* Got the stamps yesterday and used the ISMAKI-sketch to make a card.

Og her ser dere stemplene.

And here are the stamps. The line is called "With all my heart" and consist of two different design, but are available in both Norwegian, Swedish and English. The stamps are available in our web shop.

ISMAKI - challenge 12

Endelig!

Juuhuu - I've made a card! Thanks to the ISMAKI-blog and the fun sketch from Bea :) Okey, I struggled a bit, I admit that, but I'm pleased about how it turned out :) It was fun to play ith so many different papers. Stamps from Magnolia, and texts are rubons.

...

After doing my first card, I had some 'left overs', perfect to use for one more card with the same colours. Motifs from Magnolia, text from PSX.

Thanks for looking :)

ISMAKI - challenge 10

I like Mondays :) I like the nice tradition I'm about to make: Visit the ISMAKI-blog and keep pushing the 'update'-button untill the sketch of the week comes up, then turn around and use some nice hours making my entry for the week. A great start for a new week, don't you agree?

It was a fun sketch this week, and I really enjoyed making this card. Thanks for looking :)

ISMAKI - challenge 9

This week Inge made a sketch filled with layers, and to be quite honest, it kind a scared me a bit. I'm not used to deal with so many layers... But I started with a motif, and realized - after just a few seconds - that this would end up like a giant card if I'd have to use all the layers! But, okey - a giant card is cool. And unusual :) And I went back to work. And the card got bigger and bigger. And ended up as a decorated deep edge canvas. *lol*

You may have to look at it with the 'good eye' to see the sketch in it, but if you turn the sketch like this, you'll actually find it!

The 'lady' isn't a stamp. It's a cut out from a paper designed by Lynne Perrella, from the Somerset Artist Papers. So, I can't take credit for the cool 'hair'... :)

Thanks for looking :)

ISMAKI - challenge 8

In order to get rid of the feeling of living in a big, dry dessert with no creative oasis in sight, I've made a card by using a motif I've finished a long time ago. I loved the sketch this week, but still I think my card is quite boring... But: I made a card! My first for more than a week! Jiiihaa! Maybe this is the beginning of a huge bunch of new cards? :)

ISMAKI - challenge 6

Wow - I'm asked to be the 'guest artist' for this week's challenge at ISMAKI, and I'm so honoured! Thank you, girls! I really appreciate it!

Here are my contributions to the challenge. I made some different things and couldn't decide which one to use... :) The first one is a kind of book, made with two pieces of cardstock, tied together with a book ring. The stamp is a gift I got a long time ago, and I don’t know the producer. Some of the text is rub-ons, and some is cut outs from a scrapping paper. The lace under the motif is also rub-ons (Basic Grey).

The little green gift box is painted with MM paint. The stamp is from Stempelglede (a Norwegian designer), and the text is rub-ons (Norsk Stempelblad AS).

The Friend card is also made by using the sketch. The stamps are from hÄnglar & stÄnglar.

And for the last one, the round one, I turned the sketch around :) I think the stamp is a PSX stamp, but ain't 100% sure...

I hope my cards inspire you to make your version of the sketch. I'm so looking forward to visit your blogs :) Thanks for visiting mine!

Thanks for looking :)

One more ISMAKI - challenge 4

Loved the sketch so much that I just had to make another card :) I've rotated the sketch, used stamp from hÄnglar & stÄnglar, and lots of small glue pads to make the card more 3D. The muffins is homemade :)

ISMAKI - challenge 4

Another great sketch from the ISMAKI blog :) Just had to make a card! I've used different pieces of alcoholic ink backgrounds, and Krylon Pen Gold on all the edges. The text is from ClubStamp, stamped and embossed in white. The bird and the butterfly are rubons from Basic Grey. And the white dotts are doddled with a white pen. Thanks for looking :)

Resultatet ble to kort basert på to utfordringer.

Here is my entry to the third sketch at the ISMAKI-bloggen. The motifs are stamped and embossed on water colour paper, and colored with Distress Ink.

Moro :)

My second card is for the Wednesday Stamper, and this week's challenge is to make Button Dollz. Strange stuff, but so fun to make! That's why I love the WS - the challenges there allways make me try out new stuff. Thanks :)

ISMAKI - challenge 2

I've made a new entry for this great new sketch blog. This week a part of the challenge was to use only the colors blue, red and white - and of course the sketch itself. Here is my card:

Thanks for looking :)
