"Happy Holiday Memory" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here's a new layout "Happy Holiday Memory"

This layout started as a background experiement and quickly developed from there ...

I pulled out this washi tape that I didn't really know how to use.
I started making lines of it on the page and then covered the whole thing with clear gesso.

When the gesso was dry - I used Distress Crayon to smudge some more colour around the lines.
I also wanted some really subtle colour - so I sprayed some Colour Spray "Bling" freestyle.
Then I added some stamping and black ink splatters.

The chipboard pieces are the spotty circles
I've given them a coat of gesso and then covered them with metallic Distress Crayon.

Finally I've chosen this photo because it had a little pop of colour to go with my very neutral background.

I've added some journalling, title and butterflies to finish the page.

Thanks for visiting.

"Beautiful Girl" Scrapbook layout + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

I've got a new layout + process video to share - "Beautiful Girl"

I don't often think of myself as beautiful, so this layout is a reminder to myself (and hopefully you too) that we are all beautiful and to be kind to ourselves.

I'm really drawn to film strip at the moment so this
grabbed me right away.

I've also used the
as my title.

I've given the "Beautiful" a coat of embossing powder and the "GIRL" has a coat of gesso and coloured with Distress Crayon.

The background features Distress Oxide ink - so if you'd like to see it, you can check out this process video.

Thanks for visiting.

"Just Perfect" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today, sharing a new layout:
"Just Perfect"

For this layout I've used the Kaisercraft Sea Breeze collection and teamed it with a lovely burlap ribbon I found at my local discount store.

These two chipboards are "Just Perfect" - sorry, not sorry!

Find A2Z Scraplets "Just Perfect" here
or
"Large butterfly corner" here

I decided to simply heat emboss them as they are so pretty and detailed, they didn't need a lot of treatment.

I've used Colour Blast Steel and Envy on these chipboards.

Thanks for visiting.

Pretty Box Card

Oh Hello Everybody!!!

Yes it is Lauren and Teddy up here on the blog today, how exciting is that for you!!! Yes we are pretty special *wink*wink!!!!!

So today we have made a box card for you, you know, one of those wonderful creations that are embellished to the hilt and have so many goodies that seem to explode from the inside!! Love them!!

So you can see we have used lots of flowers and foliage and the lovely Darla and Vivienne Butterflies and the smaller Isabella and Pippi Butterflies from MemoryBox.  This would be out favourite shape in butterfly and we do seem to have a plenty of different ones!!!

Well we could not just leave it at one card, we have been spoiling you with a couple of cards, so here is our other one, pretty, and simple too for us.

This one is simple with the lovely Catalina Wreath from Memory Box over a stamped image on a circle.  Sweet and embellished with adhesive pearls.  We did have to used our ribbon treatment and bow, it seems to be our signature, and if you want to learn it, head over to our YouTube Channel and have a watch of the video, then you can be as expert as Teddy.

Love you all, hope you like out pretties today.

My take on the Mood Board

Hi I am here today to show you my take on the Mood Board Challenge set by Amy.

Here is my layout:

My inspiration was the rainbow and colours.

As you can see I used the added twist of using 'drops' to the hilt. The A2Z Scraplets I used are the butterflies. They come in a set of 6. I have used 2 on this layout. After gessoing them I used Gelatos on them and sprayed loads of water to get a watercolour effect. The rainbow was made from Gelatos too.

I have used loads of sequins too.

Here is the Mood Board:

Remember to add the added twist of 'drops' and have it uploaded by the 31st of December.

Thank for looking

Belinda :)
