Madagascar's Serpent Eagle - Eutriorchis astur

The Madagascar serpent eagle is a bird of prey in the hawk-like family of the monotypic genus Eutriorchis. 
The bird was validly described in 1875 by Richard Bowdler Sharpe and depicted in this same publication by John Gerrard Keulemans. 
It is a rare and endangered endemic bird species from Madagascar.
