Bitmap Font

This bitmap font, a decorative typeface is called "Squarez." It is made out of hundreds of little tiny squares.

Bitmap Alphabet

I was inspired by Sci-Fi movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey when designing this font and envision it being used on LED displays similar to those used in alarm clocks or some other quasi-futuristic application. The letter forms exist within a 5x5 grid and I therefore decided to resolve issues of leading and kerning on LED displays by making it a monospaced typeface.

Bitmap Font Project

This bitmap font uses a 5x5 square grid for both the lower and upper case letters. By omitting some of the squares that would connect segments of the letters, it creates a unique futuristic and almost alien feel, hence the name "Alien Technology."
