SPEC CPU2006 Flag Descriptions

The compilation strings (aka "flags") listed in the notes sections of the full disclosures can be cryptic. Notice, though, that with CPU2006 (unlike previous CPU suites), you can click on the flags in the disclosure to see an explanation of them. This feature works with HTML reports and, on some platforms, also works with PDF reports.

Making that feature work requires support from .xml "flag description files", which are posted below. Warning: clicking on .xml links below may just confuse your web browser; if you are unable to view the file in your browser, save a copy locally and then open it with a text editor. Alternatively, you can view an HTML dump of each flag description file.
