The Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum is a 20,000 square foot creation museum located in Glendive, Montana, on the border with North Dakota.[1] It is the largest creation museum west of the Mississippi and the second-largest dinosaur museum in Montana.

The museum was opened in the summer of 2009 and presents a miriad of displays: full sized dinosaur skeletons, a model of Noah's ark, exhibits on biology, and exhibits on the Bible.

The museum owns a nearby property which was specifically purchased for the purpose of carrying on excavations for dinosaur bones in the world-famous Hell creek formation.

Dinosaur Excavations

The dinosaur excavations are open to the public - a rare opportunity at any time, but these excavations are carried out within a Biblical framework and are family-oriented. Families can experience what it's like to excavate real dinosaur bones, and see the excavation techniques first hand. More details are on the excavations information page.
