I'm curious as to why you reverted it. I'm mean sure it didn't have to be exactly the way I had it, but it's not very conducive to collaboration if all my edits are reverted with no explanation. Using the edit summary and posting a comment would be helpful. --Tom Major 15:46, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Probably more to the point is why did you change it? I designed that template and spent some time getting it the way I wanted it. You also altered the Creation Portal template - Why? --Mr. Ashcraft 15:56, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Simply because I thought it would look better. However, the above is all I wanted, reasoning for why you reverted it. And having it the way you wanted it is a good reason. Thank you. --Tom Major 15:58, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
OK, but for future reference, changes to templates should always be done by posting a Beta on the discussion page and waiting for approval. Most templates are part of a larger color or design scheme, and if it was created by someone else, doing so will lessen the chance of you stepping on toes. --Mr. Ashcraft 16:27, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
Sounds good. Might I suggest that we use more global css... say on this page MediaWiki:Common.css, so that changing one template doesn't mess up anything? --Tom Major 17:07, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
