Duplex at Juhu, Mumbai
The house in the form of a duplex serves as an extension to a 40 year old family residence. One of the distinctive features of the design is the disengagement of the roof over primary areas of the house.
An RCC vault spans over all common areas, which when clubbed with double heights, enables the house to function as an open plan. The variations in height allow sufficient light to filter through the western façade.
