Robbery.

--On Thursday night, the store-room of H. D. Whitcomb, whose residence is on Nineteenth street, near Grace, was broken into by negroes and robbed of a considerable amount of butter, beef, eggs, meal, etc. After the rogues had gotten a short distance from the house, they were met by the watch, who gave chase, but were unable to capture them, though, in their flight, they were compelled to drop most of the plunder, which was recovered and restored to the owner. Two pistols were fired at the watch during the progress of the race.
