Big Price.

--Yesterday morning, at an auction sale of Mr. Thomas W. Keesee, which took place at his store, an ordinary coal scuttle was put up, and brought the stunning price of one hundred and forty-five dollars. The party who bought it afterwards intimated that she would have given double that amount sooner than she would have been "run off" by her competitor, who was also of the female sex. Of course, it is not probable that any good feeling existed between the fair champions, if we may judge from the high price paid for the coal-scuttle.
