Richmond Circuit Court, yesterday--Judge Meredith presiding.

--In the matter of a petition for a writ of habeas corpus of F. Ruprecht, a member of Colonel J. B. Danforth's regiment of second-class militia, the Court, after a careful hearing of the evidence, not feeling sufficiently clear that he was over fifty years of age on the 17th of February last, remanded the petitioner to his company. Mr. R. T. Daniel, counsel for affiant, took an appeal in the case.

Writs were awarded upon the petitions of William B. Patterson, John A. Gilkeson, George W. McClure and James A. McClure, bonded farmers, and made returnable to Thursday next, the 9th instant.

The case of James Kennedy was further continued until Thursday next.
