Robbery.

--Three men demanded entrance into an old free negro's house in Rocketts on Saturday night under pretext of being officers who were in search of Confederate deserters, and after ransacking the house from top to bottom, carried off all the Sunday clothes belonging to the occupants. They left word that the clothes might be had by calling at the Mayor's Court this morning; but, of course, their story was an entire fabrication, and they had no intention of restoring the stolen plunder.
