Police items.

--The cases before the Recorder yesterday were all of a trivial character, and promptly disposed of. We note a few of them:

James Maloy, a marine, for being drunk and disorderly in front of the Theatre, and interfering with persons passing the streets, was sent to the Provost Marshal, to be forwarded to his command.

Milly, hired to Mrs. M. Russell, was arrested for stealing $30 in gold and silver, but there being no proof, she was discharged.

Thomas Hayes, slave to Samuel Ryland, was up for stealing pants and cloth from some person unknown. His case was continued till to-day.
