Mounted force.

--A memorial has been presented to the Legislature of Virginia, and appropriately referred to a committee, asking the privilege in Henrico county to organize a mounted force to repel invasions by Yankee raiders. Col. McRae is well known as a well drilled cavalry officer, and if given the authority, will exert all his powers to raise a corp that will be creditable to the cause.--One single mounted company, well armed and officered, will perform more effective service in checking raiders than all the second class militia in the State put together.
