Homicide by a soldier.

--A soldier named J. H. Moses, belonging to company H, 24th Virginia regiment, Kemper's brigade, was killed by a pistol shot by a comrade named J. S. Lallas, of the same regiment, in Manchester yesterday forenoon. The parties are both represented to have been under the influence of liquor at the time of the unfortunate occurrence. The offender was taken in custody and carried to brigade headquarters to be death with by military law.
