Runaways.

--Absconded from the service of the James River and Kanawha Company, on Sunday last, two negro men, named Arthur and Edward.

Arthur belongs to Mrs. Eilis, in Spotsylvania county. He is about thirty years of age, is of low stature, brown color, flat face, with a scar on it, and has one defective eye.

Edward belongs to Mrs. Randolph, in Fauquier county. He is about sixty years of age, of low status and brown color. The company will pay what the law allows and ten dollars besides on each of these men, if arrested and returned to Mr. Smith A. Thorp, Master Carpenter, near the first lock on the canal, three miles above this city.
