Contributions for the twenty-second regiment.

We have received from Mr. T. W. Doswell a lot of under clothing and hosiery for the soldiers of the 22d Virginia regiment. If some officer or some gentleman interested for the welfare and comfort of this well-known regiment, separated from all communication even with their homes, will take charge of the articles we have for them, and see that they get them, it will render their timely transmission just now, when so much needed, the more certain. If dispatched by the freight lines of the Quartermaster's Department, they will not be received till warm weather. Any one going to the camp of the regiment can take them, as they are light.
