Marriages.
--We find, upon a comparison of the number of marriages in Richmond for two years past, that there was a falling off of 48 in 1861 from the number in 1860; that is to say, there were 221 in 1860, and 173 last year. Still, as 133 have taken place since the opening of active hostilities between the North and South, we adhere to our opinion that the war has but slightly depressed the business of "match-making."
