Capt. W. C. Templeton.
--This gentleman, who is a well-known citizen of New Orleans, was lately arrested at Manassas Junction, on suspicion as a clandestine friend to the Lincoln Government, the information being laid by certain enemies and former political opponents. We are glad to announce that President Davis, who had known Capt. Templeton for many years, promptly released him upon the facts being brought to his notice.
