Spoils of victory.
--Three Yankee ambulances, complete, with platform and reversible springs, racks for books and other conveniences likely to make them peculiarly acceptable to patients, were brought to this city on Friday. At the same time there was also brought an ambulance for the slightly wounded. The latter is said to be the most complete outfit for parties wounded in battle ever invented. It is intended to remove convalescents from the field, goes on two wheels, and is replete with all the comforts that Yankee ingenuity could suggest. The vehicles alluded to are intended as patterns for some of a similar character to be fabricated for the Southern Confederacy.
