The Universalist Church.
--The Rev. Mr. Boseman, of the Calvert Street Church, Baltimore, Md., has been chosen pastor by the congregation worshipping in the First Independent Christian Church, Mayo street, in this city.--He entered upon the discharge of his sacred calling on Sabbath morning last, preaching two discourses--one in the morning and one at night — marked with rare excellence of reasoning, which were attentively listened to by large congregations.
