--The Mobile Register, of Dec. 13, publishes the following extract from a letter written by a subscriber in Choctaw county:

"You Mobillans have but a faint idea of the misery that will be likely to exist in the country the coming year. I can assure you, from my own observation, that in less than two months from this time eight families out of ten will actually be out of corn, and a great part of them will not have money to buy it with. And as your merchants will not fill orders unless the cash accompanies such orders, where is it to come from?
