Self Protectors
--A traveler who has just reached Philadelphia from Huntsville, Ala., reports that--The Mississippi regiments are all armed with Colt's navy revolvers. Each man in the Southern army is provided with a bowie knife thirteen inches long and two inches wide. One of them was just shown me, and upon the blade were the words, ‘"Self-Protector."’ They cost twenty-five dollars each, and are terrible weapons.
The Northern people are evidently beginning to find out some things.
