Death of a professor.

--Prof. Chas. Brickett Haddock, a nephew of Daniel Webster, and former U. S. Consul to Lisbon, under Mr. Fillmore, died near New York, Tuesday. He was a professor of belles lettres in Dartmouth College from 1819 to 1851.
