York River Railroad.

--The stockholders of the York River Railroad Company will hold a meeting at West Point on the 12th of December, when a President will be elected, and there is a general desire that Mr. Dudley should recall his determination to decline a re-election. This gentlemen's energy and perseverance has pushed the enterprise forward, when almost everybody else prophesied its failure. He has devoted to it his time and energies, and has manifested a degree of interest in its success that few were capable of. If it is still his determination to decline the position, we know not where the stockholders will find a successor so well qualified to fill it.
