Ingham, Samuel Delucenna 1779-1860

Legislator; born in Pennsylvania, Sept. 16, 1779; served several years in the Pennsylvania legislature; served in Congress in 1813-18 and 1822-29. President Jackson appointed him Secretary of the Treasury, but he resigned on account of the Kitchen Cabinet. He died in Trenton, N. J., June 5, 1860.
