Ingersoll, Edward 1817-1893

Author; born in Philadelphia, Pa., April 2, 1817; son of Charles Jared Ingersoll; graduated at the University of Pennsylvania in 1835. His publications include History and law of Habeas corpus and Grand juries; and Personal liberty and martial law. He was also the editor of Hale's Pleas of the Crown; Addison on contracts; and Saunders on uses and trusts. He died in Germantown, Pa., Feb. 19, 1893.
