Anecdote of Stonewall Jackson.

The night after the battle of Fredericksburgh a council of war was held by General Lee, to which all of his generals of division were invited. General Jackson slept throughout the proceedings, and upon being waked and asked for his opinion, curtly said: “Drive 'em in the river; drive 'em in the river!” --Mobile Advertiser.
