Ichnae

Ἴχναι) and Ischnae (Ἴσχναι). A town of Macedonia, placed by Herodotus in Bottiaea, and situated probably at the mouth of the Ludias (Herod.vii. 123). From other authors, cited by Stephanus, it appears that the name was sometimes written Achne.
