VICUS COLLIS VIMINALIS

a street known only from two inscriptions (CIL vi. 2227, 2228), which undoubtedly ran along the ridge of the Viminal to the porta Viminalis. Its pavement has been found along a line from the via Napoli to the porta Chiusa (BC 1874, 199; HJ 373-374).
