Make your own Cover Button!

I was shopping at Daiso outlet the other day and came across the DIY cover buttons. Oh yeah! Now you can make your own style of buttons in just few steps.

What you need? (All can be purchase from Daiso)
1. Cotton fabric
2. Fabric Scissor
3. Cover Button pack with an exclusive punch (remember to check whether there is a punch included)

Don't worry if you are a first timer because there is always a guideline on how to make it at the back of the packaging. Just follow it and you could easily get your own styled buttons!

What you need here before you start is the punch, the button (front and back) and a piece of 3.5 x 3.5cm cloth. You could always cut according to the size given on the guideline but for my convenient I just cut a square instead a round shape.

First, you need to put the cotton on top of the white punch follow by the cotton then the button shell. Use the blue punch to press on top. Ensure that the button shell fall nicely into the white punch. Do not worry that you cant get the button out, it will get out from there. After that, follow by the back of the button then again use the blue punch to press firmly onto the top. Lastly, slowly push out the button from the punch by using your thumbs and index fingers of both hand only.

This is how it looks like for the back view.

This is how I have make my first cover button! I hope you enjoy too!

Create Your Wall with Patterned Paint Roller

Something caught my attention when I was going through some photos in Facebook. It was this- Patterned Paint Roller. A rubber roller that come with floral stamp which you could easily paint a classic look for your wall as wallpaper or even on fabric. This is a brillant tool for my new house!
I found these patterned paint roller from The Painted House. The founder- Clare Bosanquet found these paint roller in Romania.

"When I stumbled across these paint rollers in a market in Romania I was so excited I bought the lot and spent the next two months of the hiking trip regretting my cumbersome purchase. They have been used there for the last 100 years or so as an alternative to wallpaper. As an ardent upcycler I have been using them ever since to bring unloved fabrics and wonky old walls back to life. I have adapted the traditional roller system for use in fabric printing particularly; there is also a more simple foam roller for paper and walls."
- Clare Bosanquet-
With patterned paint roller, you don't have to worry about the edges of the wallpaper. You just need to roll down the fist line carefully to the edge of the wall as close as possible then continue with the second line until the whole wall is complete. You could even reuse the paint roller to paint on the fabric to create another different look for your room. Isn't it interesting? I feel like DIY my own room using these paint roller now.

You can visit here to purchase the paint rollers and applicators. There are 9 designs of paint rollers and 2 types of applicators- for fabric and for wall &paper.

Get your tools and let's roll!

Here is the video for you reference on how to paint the wall with these roller.

**You can also find Sunlite Mitre 10 from Australia that sell other rollers and colour matching service for your house!

Partymoomoo's Candilicious Balloon Twisting Worshop

I have always admire at those clowns twisting balloons for the kids, make me want to have one too. But now I am not because I have attended the Balloon Twisting Workshop, I can make one for myself now. Thanks to Tammy for organising such wonderfully and fun workshop! Everyone went back with lots of balloons on the hand and a broad smile.
What we need is a pump and colourful balloons. Our first step was to try to pump the air into the long ballons.  *pump!pump!*

Not to forget a group photo for our 1st time twisting for the 1st design-A sword. Everyone starting to feel so excited with the pump, twist, make balls and burst! Bursting was the scariest part but they make it like a happy moment that everyone have to clap when balloons burst!

My first sword balloon.

Second design is a poodle. Pinky poodle with a big eyes.

Third design is a flower. This is the hardest one I have make so far. The twisting already quite complicated, plus using all of the energy to push, really exhausted. I have biceps now.*wink*

This is my favourite one-Lollipop. My delicious and most successful lollippop. *Yummy*

Last design of the day-Gold Fish! The big head fish, I purposely pump it so big that I couldn't even tie it properly. So excited with the pumping process. :D

I bought some pumps and balloons after the class for me to play at home. I guess everyone have so much fun yesterday because I have. I never play so many balloons in my life before. Great experience!
