White shattered glass nails with multi-chrome shifts

White unicorn skins have landed! After doing some black and holographic shattered glass nails, I felt like trying out a more "angelic" look over white! But obviously, because I can never keep anything simple, I added a twist of multi-chrome! FUN Lacquer's Blessing is one of the most powerful colour-shifting multi-chromes out there, going from a beautiful green to teal to blue to purple BAM I LOVE IT!! Almost as much as holo... not quite... but almost.

Sharpie watercolour nail art with vinyl patterns

Look, my nail art is now permanent!

Lol no, that's stupid. But I did use Sharpie permanent markers to create this look. For this week's edition of the weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) I co-host on Instagram along with Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey, the theme is Elegant and the prompt is Watercolour! Not that there's anything elegant about these but... I don't care.

The Sharpie nails thing isn't new, but I'm pretty sure no one's tried it with nail vinyls AND holo yet, so, therefore, I am a pioneer.

Catstache real cat hair nails for Movember

Hottest new nail trend alert!!! Furry nails moustache nails!

All you gotta do to achieve this new classic look is find an unsuspecting cat, extract some of his/her fur with the Furminator, and follow some quick easy steps as explained in my video below to get that cat hair on your nails.

Why am I doing this? Soccer ball holo glitter placement

HOLLLLOOOOOO GLITTTAHHHH cause what else. Naturally I did nothing that made sense with this prompt!

Here's an in-your-face glitter placement using large maxi-sized holographic loose glitters from my fav nail supply store, Twinkled T! This is my second time doing a full-nail glitter placement mani (here's my first, with smaller glitters), and I placed the large hex's in a soccer ball pattern. Cause summer = soccer? Idk. piCture pOlish: Geometric right angle fun

Aussie + Canadian = FRIENDLIEST COMBO EVER

Say hello to these super fun and easy to re-create geometric nails I made using piCture pOlish products! I used three of their polishes along with Liquid Palisade latex barrier (watch my review of it and a bunch of other peel off products in this video!), and right angle nail vinyls from one of their many nail vinyl packs. Chillax yo, this mani got electric swagger!

If you know me well then you know that I've said I will never do a watermarble cause they so tedious and annoying and I just hate everyone who can do them like no big deal basically. BUT. Rose gold-tipped and stripes inspired by a classic watch

A simple classic mani for a change! I was inspired by a new watch I got from Daniel Wellington - it's called the Classic Southampton Lady... which is pretty much the opposite of me (Different Canadian Chick?)

Neon half-moon dotticure nails - summmahhhh where art thou

MOAR NAIL ART MOARRRR I'm on a roll guys, maybe it's all the crack lines of glitter I did last week, can't be sure. The theme of week's weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) that I co-host on Instagram along with lovely ladies Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey is half moon + neon! This is a relatively simple mani compared to my usual tendency to over complicate everything. Round gradient cyclone: don't get sucked in

So I did this mani back in January shortly after my middle nail saw the true death, which explains my much shorter nails in these pics. Idk why it took me forever to edit these up - wait I do know - I have no time thanks to NAIL PORN it's the hottest thing on the street, don't cha know?

In any case enjoy these round gradient neon pink and purple nails topped with a black cyclone. Reminds me of Cheshire the cat from Alice in Wonderland. I like cats so, makes sense.

Pretty pink leopard nails oh em geeee I LURRRVEE THEM. Actually no I despise pretty pink girly leopard print with bows n' shit cause GAHH I WANNA SCRATCH THEM OFF PPL'S NAILS WITH A KNIFE WHEN I SEE THEM (cause obv wouldn't wanna break my own nails). Nah, I don't hate them on other people that bad, but they're def not my style. So this is my April fool's mani (a day late whatever) cause, IT'S SO NOT LIKE ME AND I DON'T ACTUALLY LURRRVEE THEM OR WHATEVER.

Pink holo glitter placement... glitters so tiny tho

Oh em gee I did an actual GP (glitter placement)...! And I have to say that as a follow up to my last horrendous attempt at a GP, this one actually consists of placing the glitters and not just tossing them on hoping they line up. I used three kinds of mini hex loose holo glitters from The Sparkly Shop!

This mani was done as a bestie triplet mani between myself, Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of @missbellatracey on Instagram for our joint weekly nail art challenge, whose prompt this week was glitter placement and the theme being contrast. Pink and black cause I used to love Avril Lavigne, obviously.

Pink to white gradient with contrast ruffian border

This week's weekly nail art challenge (co-hosted by Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of @missbellatracey on Instagram) is 'ruffian' nails (i.e., a border cuticle line) and the theme is contrast. This is probably one of the simplest gradients I have ever done (there is only ONE GRADIENT PER NAIL?!), I guess I had a fever or something. In any case they are sure to catch someone's eye with that extra ruffian touch, and think about all the colour possibilities you could use instead of pink!

Dark galaxy nails using ultra-chrome flakies

It's galaxy time yaaaaasss! After that epic climax of ILNP ultra-chrome flakies a few weeks ago, you didn't think I was going to leave you hanging, did ya??

This week's weekly nail art challenge (co-hosted by Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of @missbellatracey on Instagram) is all about galaxies, and the theme is matte. Normally I throw rave parties over matte flakies, but I think I have succumbed to the glossy version on this one!! I know I know, "matte all the flakies" lovers everywhere are crying.

Glam Polish: Holos from the December 2014 collection

Winter is here to stay! For most of the year! Well for me anyways, being in Canada and all, summer is like the shortest season ever to actually see the sidewalks. Whatever, new seasons mean new nail polish collections to me, so there's that. Especially holo ones like Glam Polish's limited edition Mid-Winters Dream Collection, inspired by icy winter at its finest! This December 2014 collection boasts whimsical holo-day hues galore.
