hello

hello
I think it is the best way to start a conversation even on the card.
How about sending a "hello" card to someone that has been neglected.

JUST SAYING hello & Thank You card kits for OWH

On Sunday,  June 23, 2013, we are going to have our monthly OWH Cardmaking Party at Susan's place.  As usual I've been making card kits since last month's party and these two are the latest.  I love the papers. I couldn't stop playing with them. I added blings on my cards and they look nicer.  Entering the Paper Players Challenge #150 - Bring on the Bling

OWH S&S Midweek Throwdown Challenge & Sketch #PP147

 Midweek Throwdown Transportation

This week's challenge is to make general any occasion cards using something on your card that represents transportation, cars, trucks, planes, trains, etc. for our heroes to send home to their family and friends!

I used the Joy Ride 36 sheets of 6x6 paper pack from Cosmo Cricket. This has been in my shelf for a long time. I remembered it when I saw this week's Midweek Throwdown challenge.

I played with the Paper Players Sketch Challenge #147.

I made 14 cards out of the 8 papers from this pack, 2 black cardstock, 1 bermuda bay, 2 dusty durango (retired) that I started cutting.  First I made a card to play with the sketch.  It took longer time to put the rest of the left over pieces that are different sized and I tried to use them up.

OWH VCMP Challenge #6 - Any Hero card using a photograph

This is Julie's challenge: Make an Any Hero card using a photograph you took.
I used one of my photos that I taken at the Capitol Park Rose Garden.  I captured the squirrel
that was perfect in action after three shots.  I used the sentiment from Hero Arts Stamp. It doesn't look like Any Hero card by looking at but it will be.

Starting like this:  (Just Saying Hello) from Sacramento, California.  Dear Hero...

OWH VCMP Challenge #2 - A Kid's card using a Sketch

This is Paula's challenge: It can be for a big kid or little, celebrating something specific like a birthday or just a note to say hello. You can find OWH sketches HERE but you can also use a sketch from somewhere else.

I made two cards for this challenge and I used the digital images from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

First card - hello based on the OWH Sketch #51 by flipping the direction.

("Boat Duckie" image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps)

Second card - HAPPY BIRTHDAY based on the OWH Sketch #41.

OH, HELLO

This is one of card kits for OWH Cardmaking Party on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Susan's Place.

For this card, I stamped all images and the sentiment on a piece of plain designer paper.  I heat embossed the sentiment in black and swirls in white color once I stamped background images in primrose petals.

Hello - Cards to the OWH

I made this card with Joanie and Kathy at work during lunch time yesterday.  We made 12 of them to send to the OWH.  The focal image is from Michaels.  I used the OWH S&S Sketch #6.

Thanks to Kathy and Joanie for their contribution!
