Spit From Her Mouth

 

I've been seeing these split-screen photos on Instagram, people doing the side-by-sides with their siblings or parents, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon.  Trying to find a photo with similar lighting and color was difficult, so this is the closest I could get.

On the left, is my mother, in her mid-forties.  On the right, is me, at 48 years old.  When I showed it to my friend from Florida, she said, "OMG!! She literally spit you out of her mouth!!"  A "Southernism" she said.

But, yeah, we do look pretty similar, don't we?  I do have to say though, that my mother was waaaaay more beautiful than I am, so having this moment of "matching up" makes me pretty happy!
