The embroidery shack beside the Travel Centers of America in Jessup, Maryland. Stopped by here last night to park for a bit and get some water for the truck.
We were out of there by morning...without a custom hat.

That was, for me, one of the most shady truck stops ever. I stopped there frequently though for a few months while I had friends living nearby who could come and whisk me away for dinner over in Baltimore. It was from there I found love in the form of the Cheesecake Factory. :)
Gi,
This truckstop IS shady. Always "interesting" characters hanging out inside and around the steps. Ed and I stayed at the Knights Inn back in 2006 (I don't know WTF we were thinking!) when we had our old truck. I took this picture there: http://www.salenalettera.com/2006/08/you-know-youre-in-hotel-that-doesnt.html
The hotel was BEYOND gross. This one and the T/A in Gary, IN are both places that say "high crime" to me. LOL
But at least you discovered the Cheesecake Factory. Oh, my mouth is watering!
