Yeah I drive buy this ridiculous thing (which I am sure is a WORK OF ART BY SOME RENOWNED ARTIST THAT IS TOO GOOD TO UNDERSTAND THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THIS THING IS) and I wonder if there ever was a sign near it explaining what it is or even an area where people can pull off the road to snap pictures of it. None of that though. It just sets out in the middle of nowhere looking like a failed attempt by some company to create an entrance to a business park that never worked out. I would never have guessed at any of the reasons for why this thing exists as described in the link that lammy posted. Thanks Lammy. Just goes to show you that you learn something new everyday.

OMG i've actually seen that. I lived in Utah for ten years. It's a whole other country (so is Idaho, for that matter).
