It's that time of year again when everything seems to rhyme with RAD! And so we're back with a round-up of a few cards for our favourite father figures and 2021 grads. Check them out below!

Mother's Day has just snuck up on is and is literally around the corner! And there's just enough time to get that card in the mail if you're Mom is far away or social distancing in many cases. I know a lot of stationers are sending out your cards for you, and some even have Mother's Day Kits too they can mail, handwriting your message. Which makes a whole lot of sense during these times. So with that in mind I scoured my favourite online stationers and came up with 25 Mother's Day cards to send. Check them out below!

I've always loved searching for Valentine's cards for the blog, and this year is no different. There's always such a beautiful abundance of cards to choose from, which also makes it difficult to choose. But that's what makes posts like this so fun for me, still after all these years —I'm always in awe of the creativity and talent out there. Here's this year's finds, 25 dreamy cards for the day of love.

We're finally back after our summer hiatus and to kick things off, I thought we'd show up with a few beautiful calendar and planners on our radar. First off though, can you believe we're rolling up to 2020 in just a few short months? The thought of that is just crazy to me and for those of you old enough to remember, it seemed the 2000's was just like yesterday right? And remember all that Y2K hoopla we were dealing with? Luckily, the 2020s should be a lot easier technical wise and by the looks of all these new calendars we've come across and with the news we heard today, 2020 never looked so good! Check them out! Have you picked up your 2019 calendar (or agenda) yet? As tradition has it around these parts, we're a little late to the party this year. But still time to grab a fave we're sure. Here's a round up of some that caught our eye, this year nineteen, for 2019!

We're officially kicking off the season of love today here on the blog with not only our first Valentine's-inspired DIY (previous post), but also, our first round-up of some of our favourite Valentine's cards we've spotted that's new to us this year! A few new to us illustrators and shops! Let's take a look!

Are you a planner addict like us? Filling out all your dreams, hopes and plans for a new year in a new well organized planner is always the best activity yes? And equally fun is looking for a new planner that will help another new year the best. We love the ones that have all the bells and whistles from stickers to places to jot down friends birthdays. Here's a few that have caught our eye.

It's that time of year where all of the new calendars are popping up for the new year ahead and it looks like 2017 is going to be another beauty. Here's a look at a few (17 for 2017) that have dropped into our radar.

With summer almost over, it's time to start thinking about getting organized. This year I'm hoping to really get a handle on our meal planning and also keep track of everyone's new fall schedule.

So when I came across V Shop by Victoria Senges Design Co, I was instantly intrigued by her beautifully designed black and white meal planners and 16 month calendars. She also makes an adorable pregnant mama's 40 week notepad/guide for new mama's to be for jotting down questions to ask the doctor, etc.

I also like the idea that each piece is all made by hand right here in Vancouver. Let's take a look !

Always a love/hate relationship with Back to School. Summer is almost ending, yet it's always fun to get new things and a fresh start for a new school year. A few things to kickstart that back to school season from Etsy!

The day of love is coming soon, it's one of our favorite times of year to gather up all of the beautiful cards that are new in the stationery world and create a post. There's so much talent out there, and we've collected over 30 cards on Etsy that we'd love to get for this special day. Click on each link for more info!

We've partnered with Staples Canada for the holiday season to offer custom gift ideas from their new Copy & Print center. We've always wanted to order a set of customized holiday cards for the season and for Poppytalk's 10 year anniversary this year, we thought a set of Corporate Holiday Cards would be a nice touch. So we ordered and love how they turned out! We ordered two different kinds, one with an image we uploaded and the other using their pre-made designs adding a custom message inside.

It's that time of year (and one of our favorite times) to gather up all of the beautiful cards that are new in the paper goods world and create a post or two or three to kick off the beginning of the holiday season.
