I've just extended the sewing challenge to 2:30 pm CST, and then I'm off to do the random drawing. In the meantime I thought I would share some of my "vintage sewing" projects!My hobby (translation: obsession) is vintage-style aprons, which I'm not only collecting but now also creating.
Here are just a couple I thought I would share. They aren't cards or altered art, but they are handmade on a vintage sewing machine, and I reproduce vintage styles!

I'll have to give another warning that if I disappear for a couple of days, my electricity may be out. Because, yes, we have another ice storm. This one was not as bad, and I think it will melt by the weekend, but I am a bit angry/sad that the daffodils that were about to bloom by my front porch are now encased in ice. *Sigh* I hope they recover.
