In the past two episodes it was about the #technology we applied to containers and ships, and how all relevant data will be available via #cloud services.   👉 Today: From technology application to service value with MY REEFER   👩💻 In the current 3.0 version of our MY REEFER platform, which can be accessed by our website or mobile app, customers can control the whole supply chain with a comprehensive view, including key information of the cold chain and tracking of even large scale projects such as inter-airline and multi-vessel voyages.   💡 The MY REEFER platform integrates a variety of customised #AI algorithms to precisely embed tracking in the supply chain, discover potential risks in advance and improve the operational efficiency, helping customers to optimise their inventory and flexibly adjust their distribution and sales plans.   ✔ For customs clearance, MY REEFER enables direct connection with Shanghai Customs, realizing paperless customs declaration and inspection of cold processing data, which greatly improves the customs clearance efficiency of fresh fruit importers.   And finally, MY REEFER establishes an equipment life cycle model via a new generation of algorithms to ensure the box is always in the best working condition, which helps to reduce carbon emissions throughout the year, equivalent to the amount of carbon emissions absorbed by 454 hectares of forests in a year. 🌳 🌳 🌳

Welcome to our second episode about how integrated #IoT, #AI, big data and new technologies can enhance the #digital #supplychain in our #shipping industry.   🛳 Today: From #container to the vessel to the supply chain When ships are sailing on the wide ocean, missing communication signals could break the chain of real-time remote monitoring. To guarantee 24/7 monitoring, we have developed an intelligent monitoring solution IBOX-VESSEL, which can transfer data in real-time from the container to the deck office and IBOX cloud platform, enabling carriers and cargo owners to control the status of reefer containers through the IBOX application platform.   💬 To ensure the communication from ship to chain, we use air-sky integrated networks, geofencing and IoT technology to facilitate the resource planning and management of #container logistics, which also provides strong support for the optimization of the shipping route.   🍇 A great proof for our #technology to improving the freshness of South American fruits and vegetables can be found in our vessel “COSCO SHIPPING Brazil”.

In the morning of 4th August, our "Xin An Ning", sailing in the middle of the North Atlantic, received a distress report and immediately contacted the nearby MRCC TENERIFE (Maritime Search and Rescue Centre). A yacht was lost due to bad weather and in need of urgent assistance. Our vessel immediately changed course and sailed to the yacht to rescuing three crew members after seven hours of struggle.

In the next three days, we will shine a light on how integrated #IoT, #AI, big data and new technologies can enhance the digital #supplychain in our #shipping industry.   💡 Today: smart containers ❄ Our IoT technology was initially applied to cold box transport, which has high requirements for temperature and time:   Equipped with the Smart Solution IBOX REEFER, traditional #reefer containers have become smart by adding remote real-time temperature control, location and opening/closing door monitoring as well as bidirectional #communication to enhancing the #safety and control of reefer cargo. 🍉 🌺 To extend the shelf-life of extremely sensible fresh goods like specific fruits, vegetables, flowers or mushrooms, we also provide gas-conditioned boxes and cold-treatment services with standardized procedures.   👉 We now have 100,000+ refeers equipped with the third generation of IoT technology!   But we have also dry containers that can fulfil the needs of special or dangerous goods transportation. With IBOX DRY, we ensure the temperature inside the #container will always be at 15-25 degrees Celsius, while we remotely monitor the various conditions of the cargo and receive warnings in case of abnormal events, increasing safety at sea. 🐼 Stay tuned for our next episode tomorrow!

The cranes will support the terminal's expansion and sustainability plans. 💚 The #cargo was discharged by the crew operator using the #vessel's crane of our MV Xing Fu Song with great assistance of officers, crew and stevedores. 💚🌬 2.7 billion kWh green energy per year coming up! We are #shipping wind power equipment to Egypt with our vessel "Tian Lu". This #cargo will be part of the largest single-capacity wind project in #Africa, the Amunet Wind Power Project by AMEA Power. As the #logistics general contractor for this transformation project, we're providing seamless door-to-door services to our clients. Once completed, the wind project will generate approximately 2.7 billion kWh of clean #energy annually, lighting up nearly one million homes in southeastern Cairo with stable and reliable electricity. 🌬 ⚡ 🏙 🏠

"Min Jiang Kou" has arrived at DP World #JebelAliPort in the United Arab Emirates on her maiden voyage! 🚘 🚢 Currently the largest eco-friendly LNG car carrier in the world, it was also the largest RoRo vessel ever to dock at the port, delivering 5,000 vehicles from 16 brands to Dubai, which plays an important role as major hub for #automotive trade with over 600,000 car equivalent units last year. 💚 Thanks to our first clean LNG bunkering of a vessel in Singapore, carbon emissions were reduced by more than 24%, NOx emissions by 30%, sulphide emissions by 99% and particulate matter emissions by more than 90%! #green #shipping 👇 Watch our video below for some impressions of the maiden voyage ceremony in #Dubai.
