Retreating in style

Some impressions from the Yoga and Pilates retreat my friend Birgit and I ran on the weekend.
I am way behind on the washing, the cleaning, the admin and (as always) the answering of emails, so I leave you
for now with some pictures.

Luxury tents with a view. Our accomodation was beautiful. And every time we left the tent, somebody sneaked in
and cleaned up:

The view while doing early morning yoga:

We got checked out by the local wildlife:

And in turn watched the rosy-cheeked love birds (on the dead tree in the background), the dassies and baboons, and
the stunning landscape:

The part of the group that actually got up for the 6h30 morning class:

Parts of breakfast. Whenever I sat down, somebody came and offered me some food. No cooking, no shopping, no
'but I don't like salad'.... Heaven!

The lodge, nestled in amongst the rocks:

Sundowner with a view:

Cheers!:

Hugs my dear friends, wishing you a wonderful start to the week!

 Lots of love,

Easy t-shirt re-fashion

It is finally Friday!

Eva had her last day of school today and is now on holidays for the next eight weeks, all the birthdays and
birthday parties have been enjoyed and are over, and I am in holiday (or at least weekend) mood!

The dishes from lunch are not yet washed, but my whole living room floor is covered in projects.

It feels so good!

The first thing I did today is to re-fashion a t-shirt I got in the sales some time ago.
I have been teaching yoga for the last 4 years and I have been wearing the exact same clothes to every yoga
session.

Here is now finally something else to wear:

You will need:

1 large t-shirt (the furry assistant is optional):

Put the t-shirt on and decide on the length you want, then cut it off in the back:

Fold the t-shirt in half and cut from where the back ends to the middle of the front. Does anybody understand that?
Just look at the next picture if not :-):

Then cut from the point of the triangle to where the back ends:

I decided to add some fabric paint:

And here it is, the first one of my new yoga t-shirts:

A wonderful Friday to you!

Lots of love,
