Parsely ... yes !!! The best variation to the original recipe !!
Another variation is to put breadcrumbs to fry with the garlic and chilly once the garlic is half cooked.
The breadcrumbs help to absorb the oil.

Hello Dora. I'm Italian-American, from Yonkers, NY and moved to Rimini to follow my Italian husband. How about that? Anyway, my question about the size of the pan for your pizza rustica recipe is directly below. I plan to make it for Christmas for my Italian family here in Rimini. So, will a 23cm/6cm deep spring pan do the trick or do I need to get one 13cm (5-14") deep? If it's possible you can answer at my e-mail address (Osvaldo Mercuri): centro.mo@gmail.com

Grazie mille per la Sua gentile assistenza.

Question to anyone who has made this recipe. Is the size of the pan truly 26cm (10") x 5-1/4" high, or did Dora mean to put 5-1/4cm? I have a 23cm spring pan that is 6cm high, which would make it too short by half. What size pan did any one out there use? Thanks very much.

I love all your recipes....I love all the Italian dishes....I found out when I went to italy... they dont season their foods as highly as we do...that was a big shock to me....Your right about the bbq ribs... the longer they slow cook in the oven the better they are...
