This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Teens Era (?) Tea Dress
From the seller:
Beautiful white on white embroidery, eyelet, floral cutouts. Pintucking starting at waist. Hook and eye closures on the back. Only for display or study. Dress has some tears on the shoulder (pictured above).
15" - underarm to underarm
13.5" - waist
52" - length (shoulders to hem)

From Me:
This almost looks more like a costume to me than an actual antique except for the way the back of the skirt to the dress is constructed. The tiny pintucks look more like what you would see on an actual antique so....most likely 1910's but it could be a recreation.
